Notes:
The Dunbarton victory over Port Perry (played September 28th) was the first for the Spartans in three years.  Coach Gutsell was apparently speechless and Steve McMenemy threw both touchdown passes.
Henry Street captured the Mayors Cup with their win over Anderson on September 29th.
Dunbarton scored 14 points in the final minute in their 26-19 decision over Eastdale.
Pickering, seeking their third consecutive championship, completed the season with an undefeated season.  According to the News Advertiser, the Pickering defeat in the Championship game was their first in 39 games.  Given that Eastdale captured the league championship in 1974 according to the League trophy, we find this number to be possibly be inaccurate as that would imply that Pickering had been playing 13 games on average for each season (1975-1977).
Championship game saw Pickering leading 6-0 at the half before Henry Street took over in the second half.  The second Henry Street touchdown was scored on a fake field goal attempt.
Henry Street had returned to the league after a three year absence.
All G L Roberts regular season games were decided by less than one touchdown.  Coaches were Ivanco and Jackson.

GL Roberts coaches: R. Schmidt, G. Morden, J Kolodzie
The O'Neill win over Anderson was reported in the News Advertiser on October 26th and left O'Neill undefeated in league play.  Within the same article, it was reported that Pickering had a 4-1 record following their win over Eastdale.
In the Championship Game, trailing by a score of 13-6, Bowmanville would score a touchdown.  Now trailing by one, the Redmen went for a two point convert which failed.
