Noteworthy:
Although Pickering dominated during the regular season scoring 265 points while
allowing only 27, they could not seal the deal in the Championship game.
Trailing by eight, Pickering would score a fourth quarter TD with 2:16
left on the clock. The two point convert attempt failed when Kevin
Sylvester was stopped short of the goal line. Pickering would find
themselves with possession well within field goal range late in the fourth
quarter however a fumble on the second last play turned the ball over to Henry
Street and the field goal attempt opportunity was lost.
Donevan, plaqued with attendance problems, actually folded for a day.
Fortunately, the students rallied around Coach Bert Hoeffs and the team
continued operation posting a respectable 4-3 record.

Ryan Wilkinson with three minutes remaining. Darren Bolle's convert
provided the margin of victory.
Brian Manorek coached the Uxbridge team.
